I had a pretty good stay at Oceancliff, with a spacious condo that was great for my family, though some aspects could use improvement. The location was ideal, being close to state parks and offering beautiful views of the bay. However, the hotel showed signs of wear, and maintenance could be better. Overall, there are better places for a romantic getaway, but it's a solid option for a family trip.

Rooms
8.0
My two-bedroom condo offered a good amount of space and a nice balcony, which we enjoyed for breakfast with views of the bay. The second bedroom was quite small, though, and not ideal for adults.
Service
7.0
The staff seemed friendly and accommodating, but there were issues with housekeeping, and I felt like they could've done more to address our concerns during our stay.
Location
9.0
The location was fantastic, close to parks and just a short drive to restaurants and downtown Newport.
Dining
6.0
I didn't try the on-site dining much, but the breakfast room was crowded, likely due to events happening during my stay.
Facilities
6.0
The overall facilities were decent but could use more maintenance, especially around the pool area and common spaces.

I had a mixed experience at Oceancliff I & II. The location is stunning, overlooking the bay and close to scenic spots. however, the condition and upkeep of the hotel left something to be desired. While the staff were friendly and accommodating, there were some inconsistencies with the service that impacted my overall impression.

Rooms

My one-bedroom apartment was spacious and clean, although the dated decor and some maintenance issues were noticeable. The view from the balcony was beautiful, making breakfast quite enjoyable.
Service
6.0
The staff were generally friendly and eager to help, although I experienced some miscommunication regarding amenities and check-in details. This could be improved for a smoother stay.
Location
9.0
Oceancliff's location is one of its biggest draws, providing amazing views of Narragansett Bay and easy access to scenic spots along Ocean Drive.
Dining
7.0
I didn't dine extensively at the hotel, but the Mediterranean options available sounded intriguing and added to the overall appeal of my stay.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities, including the indoor pool and tennis courts, were nice touches, but could use better maintenance to enhance the overall guest experience.

I had a lovely stay at Oceancliff I & II, enjoying lovely ocean views and spacious accommodations. The staff were friendly and attentive, contributing to the overall positive experience. However, I did encounter issues with noise from neighboring rooms and some discomfort with the height of the bed. Overall, it was a relaxing getaway with a few drawbacks.

Rooms

My room was spacious and clean, but the bed was quite high, which made it a bit difficult for me to get in and out comfortably.
Service

Oceancliff is beautifully located on the water, with stunning views close to Ocean Drive and a nearby state park for sunsets.
Dining

Breakfast was good, served with great ocean views, although I would have liked more variety on days other than the scheduled service.

While the amenities were charming, I noticed some areas, like the pool, weren't as clean as I'd hoped.

My stay at Oceancliff I & II had its ups and downs. The location is quite stunning, with great views and a beautifully landscaped hotel. However, I encountered a few hiccups, like the exterior needing some maintenance and my room not being ready on time. Overall, while the ambiance is pleasant, I might think twice about returning due to the issues I faced.

Rooms

The view from my one-bedroom apartment was amazing, but the exterior of the building felt a bit neglected. Inside, the unit was spacious and well-furnished, but the bathroom had a hair-clogged drain.
Service
6.0
The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Sheila and Eric, who made me feel welcome. However, I did run into some confusion at the reception with incorrect info about the restaurant being closed for the season, which added to my frustration.
Location

Oceancliff I & II is perched on a hill just off Ocean Drive, offering gorgeous water views. You can catch sunsets at a nearby state park, which is a huge plus for relaxation.
Dining
5.0
The on-site dining was a letdown due to limited options when I arrived. I really wanted to enjoy a meal, but I had to settle for a small menu because they were prepping for a wedding.
Facilities

While the grounds are well-maintained and provide lovely spots to relax, I felt the need for more upkeep in some areas. Chairs and tables were being moved early in the morning, which disturbed my peace.

My stay at Oceancliff I & II was a mixed bag. While the location boasts stunning views and the staff seemed friendly, I found the facilities a bit lacking and the dining experience underwhelming. Overall, the potential is there, but it left me wanting more.

Rooms
5.0
My room was large and clean, but the overall vibe felt dated and bare bones. I noticed a mildew odor in the lobby and hallways, which was off-putting.
Service
5.0
While the staff were generally friendly, I encountered some issues with service. The reception desk didn't provide accurate info about Wi-Fi or shuttle services, which was frustrating.
Location
10.0
The views were absolutely amazing, set right on the bay, making it a beautiful spot to unwind. I also loved that it was near State Park for sunset views.
Dining
5.0
Dinner was pretty average, which was disappointing given the hype. However, brunch the next day was better, so I guess there's potential for improvement in the kitchen.
Facilities
5.0
The pool seemed unclean and the overall hotel felt under-maintained, which isn't what I'd expect for the price.
